One of thelatest things to come out of Google is “Google Now on Tap” – a feature which allows you to quickly obtain the information that you need without leaving the app you’re currently using.
Recent news indicates that this app is now able to recognize text via your device’s screen or camera. This also means that the results you receive from aGoogle search will be reliant on what you have read on the screen or on an image. The app is also able to recognize numbers through the camera, meaning you’ll be able to take a picture of a business card (among other things) and save it to your contacts with ease.
This feature is still in the early stages of development, yet it hopefully it won’t be too long before we can make use of its great potential!
