As one of my New Year’s Resolutions, I’ve recently created a WordPress-based website to get more familiar with this awesome blogging platform and try out themes, plug-ins and other goodies.
One of the first things I wanted to make sure is that my blog could be properly viewed from an iPhone or iPod Touch – that is, with an iOS-friendly theme that makes the blog readable on such a small screen. If you too want to make your WordPress blog iPhone-friendly, here’s what you need to do:
1. In your WordPress Dashboard, go to Plugins > Add new and search for WPtouch.
2. Click on Install now and the plugin will automatically be added to your WP installation. After the plugin has been enabled, you’ll be able to tweak it from the Settings > WPtouch menu.
3. Visit your blog from an iPhone or an iPod Touch, and see the change by yourself! The WPtouch plugin has tons of customization features, so you can easily adapt it to your blog’s look and feel.
