Microsoft’s ‘Tell Me‘ helper, which you can find in Office Online, may be coming to Office 16, according to The Verge.

An early version of the suite has been given to partners and testers, some of whom have apparently leaked some details about it. Tell Me was a feature added to Office Online, and it seems credible that the feature would be included in Office 16. Don’t worry too much about Clippy comparisons though – there’s no animated, anthropomorphized office equipment in Tell Me.

The Ribbon interface is still there, but you can now choose a new black theme for it, which is back in response to popular demand. It was present in Office 2010, but removed in 2013. Customer feedback has apparently convinced Microsoft to give black a comeback next year.

Office 16 will also read image metadata, so when you insert images, they should appear the right way up, requiring no manual rotation. Manual rotation of images, however, will still be possible.
