Smarter, faster YouTube uploads

'Broadcasting yourself' has never been easierI’ve always found the process of uploading to YouTube rather restrictive, in terms of the size of the vids you can put up. I’m a happy (well, happier) man today though because the site has upped its file size limit from 100Mb to 1Gb. Although the movie length limit is still stuck at 10 minutes, at least now you can upload much higher quality video. What’s more, there’s a new bulk uploader tool that allows you to post clips to your site from your web browser.

Obviously if you’re uploading large files you don’t want to get it wrong and have to start the process all over again. Use Movavi Videosuite and you won’t have this problem as the program can convert your video into YouTube-compatible formats in no time. It even includes special presets to adjust your movie for sharing on YouTube. If you’re not a fan of the new official uploader then check out FileUploader, a neat Firefox extension that allows you to transfer movies to the site with a minimal number of clicks.
