The three best Transformers games

In honor of the release of the fantastic Transformers: Devastation, in this week’s Click-Swipe-Play I am looking at the best, currently available Transformers games for PC and mobile.

Kicking things off I’ve selected Transformers: War for Cybertron (Windows). This was a treat for franchise fans when it released, with developer High Moon Studios moving away from the questionable movie licences to create their own Universe for Optimus Prime and his cohorts.

My second pick is Angry Birds Transformers (iOS|Android). While I know that this is technically only half a Transformers game, it is the good half. Lots of 1980 cartoon style will hook fans, while the fast paced shooting should convince everyone else.

Finally we have the newly released Transformers: Devastation, and developer Platinum Games have brought all of their considerable talents to the fore for this title. Filled with high-octane action and stunning set pieces, this is the game I have been waiting for since I got my first Bumblebee.

That’s it for this week, next Thursday I’ll be back next week with another three game reviews. See you then.
