Developers can already get their hands on BlackBerry 10.1, the first update to the make-or-break mobile operating system from the Canadian mobile firm. It has a number of new features that have been discovered by the CrackBerry forum users.

The most notable change is the introduction of an HDR (high dynamic range) camera mode, as seen on other systems like iOS. It also includes ‘PIN to PIN messaging‘, meaning you can send more secure messages between BlackBerry devices.

Other changes include word highlights now being green instead of blue, improved text picker and the ability to turn off alerts for specific applications. Read the full list at CrackBerry.
