Today’s contest is for a $50 voucher for Softonic Deals which you can spend on any of their great tech related products that range from VR headsets to courses in coding. If you win you’ll have your voucher just in time for Christmas. It’d make a perfect gift or you could just treat yourself to something special in the New Year.

If you’re excited about the future of VR but are unwilling to spend thousands of dollars on equipment then this contest could be for you. Softonic Deals are currently offering a VR headset that uses your phone to power the experience. Samsung and Google both have VR headsets available for use with their phones.

How to Enter

  1. Like Softonic on Facebook
  2. Leave a comment on this post telling us the one app from 2016 that you’d recommend to Santa.
  3. Share This Picture

It is that simple. The competition will run until 23:59 (GMT) on Thursday 22nd December 2016. Once the competition has closed we’ll select a winner at random from all of the qualifying entries. The lucky winner will then be notified via Facebook and will be announced via our social media channels the following week.

The headset uses your phone as the display meaning you’ll be putting all of your phones processing power to good use. Unlike other VR headsets this headset also offers stereo sound. You’ll be totally immersed in your VR experience in a way simply not offered by other headsets.
