It’s the Super Bowl this Sunday, and to celebrate, Google has announced a new function on the Google Maps app for Android.

Google commented that as from today: “Across the U.S., you can discover the spots near you where you can get a great seat for kickoff. Just open Google Maps, tap on “explore food & drinks in this area” and select “Best Spots for the Big Game – Where to eat, drink & watch.” You’ll see a curated list of bars and restaurants around you where you can go to watch the biggest game (and best commercials) of the season. The experience is available in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia, Dallas-Ft. Worth, San Francisco, Boston, Seattle, Denver and Charlotte.”

Don’t you think Google should implement this novelty indefinitely? Meaning that every few minutes, Google maps adds an awesome new fucntion, so making this one stay for good is certainly not out of the question.

Imagine if all goes well with this experiment and Google decides to expand it across the globe. Being able to attend any big event in a location you’re unfamiliar with, and have the option to see the best of the best nearby. Fingers crossed!
