When comparing PC to PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, you could always say that the PC version of games looked superior. 4A Games’ featurette about the changes between the original Metro 2033 and Metro: Last Light games to the Redux editions is a staggering example of the power of the PS4 and Xbox One which can now compare to PC.

The video highlights the many changes to the game including insanely improved graphics, three new games modes (Ranger, Spartan, and Survival), and an estimated extra ten hours of content.

Based off of Dmitry Glukhovsky’s Metro 2033 novel, Metro Redux looks like a remastering that’s actually worth the money.

Metro 2033 Redux and Metro: Last Light Redux will be available separately as a $24.99 digital download. Metro Redux will include both games for $49.99.

Metro Redux will be available for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on August 26.
