Shaquille O’Neal is back in Shaq Fu: A Legend Reborn. Or at least he will be if his Indiegogo project reaches $450,000.
Shaq Fu: A Legend Reborn will be the sequel to the original Shaq Fu game from 1994. The game was a flop but A Legend Reborn aims to create a game the original should have been.
The campaign trailer shows O’Neal as a ninja basketball player putting the hurt on some generic baddies. The game appears to take place in the streets of feudal Japan.
The game will be a brawler-type game with “hundreds of moves and battle techniques” according to Shaq Fu’s Indiegogo page. There will also be a cooperative multiplayer mode as well as a player-vs-player mode.

If the game receives more funding than $450,000, developer Big Deez Productions will bring the game to more platforms. Here are the stretch goals:
- $650,000: Android and iOS
- $775,000: Xbox 360 and PS3
- $960,000: PlayStation Vita and 3DS
- $1,080,000: Wii U
- $1,620,000: Xbox One and PS4
If you want to see Shaq Fu: A Legend Reborn get made, head over to their Indiegogo page to fund the project.
