Metal Gear Solid 5: Phantom Pain is the second game released with the ‘5’ moniker. The first, ‘Ground Zeroes’, was released last year on consoles, and is expected on PC later this year. Phantom Pain should be out in 2015. The games are the latest in the long running Metal Gear series, which started life in 1987.

They are stealth action games, which generally see you sneaking around military complexes. The series came to life with 1998’s Metal Gear Solid, which was the first to be in 3D, and the majority of the games have been written and produced by Hideo Kojima, one of the most influential writers in the history of video games.
